What is the shelf life of David protein bars, and how should they be stored?Updated 2 months ago

Both David Gold and David Bronze have a shelf life of 1 year. David can be stored at room temperature away from direct sunlight up until its Best By date. 

For optimal David Gold taste and texture, you can also store David Gold bars in the fridge or in the freezer. When storing David Gold in the fridge or freezer, we recommend allowing your bars to return to room temperature for a softer texture when eating, though some consumers enjoy their bars most when eaten cold (and some enjoy their bars most when they are warmed for 10 seconds in the microwave).

For optimal David Bronze taste and texture, store at room temperature, away from direct sunlight, until the Best By date. While you can refrigerate or freeze them to extend shelf life, cold storage can make the bars firmer and mute flavor. If you do chill them, we recommend letting the bars return fully to room temperature before eating for the optimal Bronze taste and experience.
